1 commentVideo: Logan Hill: Identity Crisis
Some of you guys met my friend Logan a few years ago when he came to visit Atlanta. I recently attended his MFA thesis exhibition at Artspace 111 in Fort Worth, TX titled Identity Crisis. Here’s my interview with him.
No commentsNew Video Work
Hey guys, just thought I’d let you know about some of the video work I’ve been doing lately. I’ve been shooting a lot of stills, but I haven’t been working toward a particular project (that I know of yet). But I’ve felt inspired to make more of a shift toward video lately. Really makes me wish I had taken a final cut pro course in grad school. Dang.
Anyway, I’ve added a few new pieces to the video section of my web site. If you have a chance, I’d love to hear feedback either on here, or through email.
Also, how’s everyone doing? =)
No commentsKyle’s Lecture!
Maybe it’s his humility, but Kyle didn’t even tell us about his lecture last year. Heck, I didn’t even know he had a blog. He sounds like a pro! Nice…
No commentsSoundSlides
Here’s a video I made using soundslides of an opening at The Opal Gallery. I’d appreciate any comments or suggestions being this is my first attempt. thanks.

No commentsFinal Run-Through of PhotoAwesome Thesis

I just made a super quick video (and I mean quick! Don’t watch if you get motion sickness!) of all the pieces after Blue Tower cleared out tonight. I know several other folks are making videos of their own that will feature much more in-depth content later, but I just wanted to get something up for those folks not able to make it out this evening.
And yes, I chose the music. It’s perfect, and you’re all wrong if you disagree. =)
w00t! We’re done.
1 comment6 minutes of Awesome

11 commentsIra Glass on Storytelling
Because I’m a fan of This American Life and Ira Glass, my interest piqued when I stumbled upon these four semi-short videos of Ira giving advice to people interested in making, say, video podcasts, or really any kind of creative broadcast. Of course, creative is the key word, and that’s why these seem especially valid to us as artists. If you only have time for one, listen to the THIRD segment. But if you can, listen to all four:
- Ira Glass on Storytelling #1
- Ira Glass on Storytelling #2
- Ira Glass on Storytelling #3
- Ira Glass on Storytelling #4
