I must purchase a 35mm SLR film camera body that has manual controls and a working light meter for Phot 101 class.
Can anyone provide some suggestions?

can’t go wrong with the Pentax K1000. All manual, needle meter, nearly indestructible. I got mine for $50 with lens at a pawn shop and it’s been trusty for 10 years.

Walker | Monday, March 19, 2007 | 1:28AM I bought a canon AE-1 from ebay for 30 bucks. They can take any kind of beating. I do have a 35 mm film canon rebel 2000 that my friend used last year for his classes and it worked fine. I’d be willing to part with it for a small fee.
