Goodbye, Good Luck & Plans
I hope everyone enjoyed the graduation ceremony today. I would’ve walked, but I hate graduations with a passion.
I’m just writing to wish everyone the best in their careers and personal lives. I hope everyone decides to stay in touch (whether through this web site or not) and at the very least, give us a way to get in touch with you if the need ever arises. I’ve really enjoyed my two years of grad school with y’all, even if it didn’t always seem to be the case, and I would venture a guess that most of you felt the same.
So I’ll take this opportunity to fill everyone in on my summer plans, and hopefully you’ll do the same. See the comments for info…

Stacy and I will be staying in Atlanta until our lease ends on July 31st, at which point we will likely be moving to Chicago to pursue adjunct teaching jobs. Boston is still a real possibility, but I think we’d get more bang for our buck in the relatively cheap Midwest.
Until that time, we’ll be looking for things to do with those of you who are still in town over the summer. We’re planning a trip to Chicago to find a place to live from June 19-23.
How did the graduation ceremony go, btw?
Graduation was surprisingly really awesome, it’s good to have a big high five at the end of the two years. Not to mention the photo dept. took home 5 of the 9 awards given (Awesome).
As I’m sure most of you know I’ll be kicking it in the ATL until some sort of job pulls me else where/anywhere. Hopefully an adjunct will open up at a school somewhere in the Atlanta area. In the mean time I’ll be making more awesome ninja photos and working with art relish. It’s been real, keep in touch and if anyone needs anything feel free to give me shout.
Ditto congratulations to all. Was Photo Arts I just two years ago? Wow.
In the continuing saga that is my graduate education, I will be completing more courses, beginning with an internship this summer, and graduation in just two more years!
Likely I will be the easiest to find, cause I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be right here establishing my global media empire (artrelish.com… bookmark it!), along with taking care of various chores, domestic duties, yardwork, etc.
It’s been a hoot working with and getting to know all of you. I wish you all the best.
I, too, will be in the big ATL as a freelance photographer…hopefully pulling Snap LLC out of the red and into the black. And, I will be spending some time in Sweetwater, marketing my first but not last book, and other projects in the area…as well as working on the farm (not much cause its too darn hot in the summer).
Many successes to all of you.
I miss you already.
xo
Congratulations and good luck to you all!
Graduation was fun and it was awesome that so many photo peeps took home awards!! Congrats to everyone.
As most people probably know already I am moving back out to Jackson the middle of June, so if anyone wants to make a trip out there, you are more than welcome to stay with me (i have a spare bedroom with a comfy futon!).
I watched the ceremony via the web cast. Losts of hoopin’ and hollerin’. I’ll be here in ATL with my internship starting thursday. I we can all get together one last time before everyone goes their own way.
Hey everybody,
I am now back home in Wheeling, IL. I’m going to Florida for two weeks in June, but other than that I will be in Wheeling until late July. Then I will be making the 1,600 mile drive to Cedar City,Utah with Stacia. I begin teaching at Southern Utah University at the end of August. I will miss all of you guys, so everyone needs to stay in touch.
