Call for Entries: Excursion

Our good friend, Dan Quinn, has asked me to post a call for entries for an upcoming show with his new space, Stand Alone Gallery. The show is called “Excursion: An Exhibition of Transcience”, and submissions are due April 1, 2008. The fee for entering is $25 for up to five pieces.

The show will take place at the Blue Tower Gallery Annex (675 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Atlanta, GA), and will run from April 17-19, 2008. Check out the Stand Alone Gallery web site for more information.

    Is this asking for decorative suitcases like that show here last year? “Fill your finest tote with the essential accoutrements…” etc. I may be dim, but cannot tell what they’re looking for.

    the deadlines been moved to may 1st.

    i think hes looking for work in any medium, anything that could somehow fit into the broad theme of “travel” and the implications of such.

    I e-mailed this gallery with a question, and I’m wondering if any of you guys know this answer:

    I’m having issues with naming the files. I tried to name my files Chaikof/R/Title/2008.jpg . My computer is not allowing me to name my files this way because it’s not allowing me to use the slashes to name the files. Please let me know what I can do.

    Filenames can NEVER contain slashes. Use hyphens or underscores instead.
