Somerset Velvet for Sale
I have a 24″ roll of Epson Somerset Velvet paper with at least 35 feet left. I don’t think it works well as a photo paper so I no longer have a use for it. But if anyone can use it for drawing/printmaking/other stuff, I would like to sell it them for $75. Make a comment or talk to me if you’re interested.

Kyle, I might be interested. I want to try some different papers to do test prints from digital files of collodion plates.
Why doesn’t it work well for you? Do you mean you are just not happy with the results for your images?
I have yet to find the right paper for digital prints of collodion plates. It’s like searching for the holy grail… Except I’m not looking for a big fancy cup or anything…

I just wasn’t able to find a profile that worked well for it, and the blacks aren’t very rich which was a big problem for my images. However, it is a nice thick paper with a good texture. I can show you the few small prints I made on it if you would like.
That would be cool.
