imovie ‘08 = backtrack
I just purchased a new mac that came pre-installed with ilife ‘08. All of the programs are great except imovie which, I feel, is 2 to 3 steps back from imovie 6 HD. While apple says that they will have the bare-bones program updated to its full potential, I will settle for a good thing they had going. For those of us photo grads who want to revert back to imovie 6 hd, Apple is letting you download it for free here.

I played with the new imovie at Bestbuy the other day and I couldn’t agree with you more. I haven’t been that confused since the first time I opened a RAW file. Thanks for providing the link and if anyone figures out the new iMovie please give a presentation on it next quarter.
