Nice.That’s Thomas Dworzak’s found photo collection from photo studios in Khandahar, Afghanistan just after the US invasion and the temporary defeat of the Taliban. These photos came from passport photo sessions with Taliban soldiers turned glamor sessions. The images were hand colored by the studio photographers and Thomas just published them as he found them in a small book called “Taliban: Retouched Beauty of the Dead,” by Trolley, Ltd.

Yeah ok that was pretty awesome. I like Magnums media presentation, something photoawesome might want to look into.

Actually… that was pretty heavy. Seeing children with gun still blows my mind.
