Who Knew?
So I’m sitting here in Orange, Texas with no film. I ordered 20 rolls of B&W 120 from B&H several days ago to be delivered to my mom’s house so I didn’t have to take lots of rolls through security at the airport. The package got stuck in Philadelphia because of that storm that hit the Northeast.
Not knowing my packaged hadn’t arrived, I shot up the four rolls I brought along on the first day alone, and there’s very little hope of getting any 120 film in Southeast Texas. I might have to drive to Houston (over 2 hours away) in the morning because all of the photo stores in the area are closed on Sundays (I don’t know if they even carry 120 film anyway!). Did I mention this whole trip to Texas was for taking pictures?

Hope you’re all enjoying your break.

Bummer dude.
My digital Camera can taake tons of pictures without film! In Alabama you can still buy 120 film. Ha!!
Klye and I are in New Orleans and are having fun making videos and drinking heavily. More later bu-bye.
do they have telephones in texas yet? maybe a call to the store in houston would yield some information on 120 stock.
if it’s still telegraph, then you’ll have to look up the morse code for 120 film.
I’m pretty sure it’s dot dot dash.. .something.
oh and I forgot to mention I have about 10 rolls of BW 120 in my fridge that have been there for months. good luck.
While you’re in Orange having a bad photo-day here in the ATL I’m taking your wife out to the movies and to concerts, ha, ha!
I don’t want to begin talking about how my “$·%”$%!$”"$%$%& quarter ended. Let’s just say I write in English using an odd “sentence length.” I hate everything. I’m depressed. Thank God I had Stacy to hang out and that I’m going to Boston tomorrow to photograph the port and my friend’s wedding and, as Ninja Cute and Kyle, drink heavily. As things are going SO bad, I guess that one million feet of unexpected snow are waiting for me. B-U-M-M-E-R.
Have a great rest of the break.

that sucks walker… sorry. hopefully by now you have found some film and are enjoying driving around the state taking some ‘awesome’ photos!
it snowed a good 7-8 inches here this morning, so at least there was one good day of snow!! so far, it’s been in the 50’s everyday (and thats at 9000 feet!) so it’s been hot!
Have a great rest of ur break….
sheesh. texas (film or no), new orleans, utah, you all are totally cool.
me = 5th floor, scad atlanta. every. day. yay me.
Jason, call in sick for the rest of the week and come and join any of us! Turn crazyyyy!
Well, I drove to Houston and bought 10 rolls, only to turn around and drive another two hours back. But in the end it worked out. I’ve already shot some 14 rolls of 120 B&W so far.
My plans changed, and now I’m not going to drive the extra 700 miles (roundtrip) to Odessa. Instead, I’m in the Austin area now, and then I’ll head back to Houston on Friday and Saturday.
The reason? Sally Mann is speaking at the Houston Center for Photograph on Friday at 7pm. I’m hoping to talk to her about doing an internship. Woo!
I’ll give a report here after the lecture.
WOO HOO! That would be AWESOME Walker, although I don’t know if after meeting her I would hug her or punch her…not sure…errr, love-hate thingy, maybe?
